General
Parking
Volunteers collecting a gold-coin donation from drivers will greet you at the front gate. Once through the gates, the main car park is on the right. Please follow the signs and directions provided by the car park attendants.
This is a large car park area and there is plenty of parking for all vehicles. Do not leave valuables in sight and ensure that your vehicle is locked and secured.
Rubbish
Trash Paks will be provided throughout the event village & camping zones. Please take the time to remove your rubbish & place it in the bins. There will be recycling bins available, please use them as much as possible.
Fires
For fire safety & conservation, the following rules will be in place & will be enforced by the bushfire fighter unit at the race:
For Team members, you can
use your own gas heaters, lights and gas/fuel cookers in your tents and within
hired marquees, however, they must be at least 1 metre clear of any tree, wall
or ceiling; the tent must be open for ventilation; a responsible adult must be
present when they are operating and you need to have either a fire blanket or a
small dry powder extinguisher.
No solid fuel or charcoal type cookers are permitted.
You can use your own gas
heaters, lights and gas/fuel cookers in the Dyna Sys World Solo Pit Row tents
and marquees, however, they must be at least 1 metre clear of any wall or
ceiling, the tent must be open for ventilation, a responsible adult must be
present when they are operating and you need to have either a fire blanket or a

No solid fuel or charcoal type cookers are permitted.
No open fires are allowed anywhere in the campsite or forest areas – this includes stone BBQ areas and also means no braziers.
Facilities Available
Stromlo Forest Park has everything you could ever need and more, the amenities of the site include:
Toilets and Hot Showers. These are located on the northern side of the upper pavilion level carpark, and use town water. These will be marked with a purple CORC Toilet flag.
Drinking Water. There are several taps and outlets around the village. These will be marked with a blue CORC water flag.
Catering. Hungry? There will be heaps of food stalls to satisfy the fussiest bike rider as well as awesome live entertainment in the event village. These will be located on the upped level of the pavilion and marked with an orange CORC food flag.
Radio. The Scott 24hr will have its own 99.5 fm radio station which will broadcast the race commentary. This will be broadcasted live from Stromlo Forest Park with all the excitement of the Scott 24hr including frequent up-dates on the racing events. So make sure that you bring a radio and tune in to hear all the action whilst on site!
Battery Recharge. Battery charging tent will contain one 240V outlet for each team. It will be centrally located in the event hub on the eastern (city) side of the team transition area. You will need to bring your own 240V power board if your team has multiple battery chargers. Make sure that your power board, chargers and batteries all have your name and team name on them. It is highly recommended that you bring your batteries to the event in a fully charged condition. Only battery chargers are permitted to be plugged into the outlets in the battery charging tent. If any of your charging equipment has a fault which trips the earth leakage safety system, that equipment will then be removed from the battery charging tent and prohibited from further use.
Hired Team Marquees will be provided with their own 240V outlet, to allow these riders to conveniently charge their batteries at their own site.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in Stromlo Forest Park for the event. Seeing-Eye dogs excepted.
Medical and Emergency Services
First Aid will be located at the end of the Toyota RAV4 Teams Transition Area. You can access first aid from both the event centre and transition. There will also be a small first aid post within the Dyna Sys World Solo Pit Row area, however this is only for solo riders.
